Broker's Open Review (Sept. 10)

Today I previewed two new homes on the market and two homes that have been on the market since January. Starting with this post, I will be adding a star rating for each property I tour based on my overall opinion of the listing - the scale will be from 1 to 5, 5 being the best.

825 Main St, 5bd/1.75ba, NEW Residential (LP: $774,950) *****
This house has a lot of character with style (built in 1901), a lot of natural light, and a lot of bedrooms! It reminded me of something you might find in San Francisco, which to me is a plus. It is a great home in a great location just 4 blocks to DT Edmonds. View photos and listing details >

1010 Daley St, 4bd/2.5ba, NEW Residential (LP: $679,000) **
This house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood that is walking distance to DT Edmonds (about 10 minutes). It has water views from the dining room and living room, and a nice new patio in the backyard. Overall, my thoughts are that the house is a bit awkward and it's overpriced. View photos and listing details >

943 Glen St, 4bd/3.25ba, Residential (LP: $1,299,000) ****
This home is brand new and has been on the market since January 2008. It was built by Classico Homes, an Edmonds-based company that builds custom craftsman style homes. It is definitely worth a look if you are in the over $1M price range - on a dead end street with a lot size of o14K. View photos and listing details >

941 Glen St, 4bd/3.25ba, Residential (LP: $1,399,000) *****
This home is next door to the one above - alsot on the market since January 2008 and built by Classico Homes. Each home has a unique layout and great views of the Puget Sound, but this one is the better of the two (in my opinion). Definitely worth a look. View photos and listing details >
